SOUTHWEST WINGS
Birding and Nature Festival in Sierra Vista, Arizona
Greatest Little Birding Festival in the United States - since 1991
Our mission is to promote nature-based tourism and environmental awareness in southeastern Arizona
Chris Harbard co-director of SW Wings describes what spring is like in Carr Canyon in the Huachuca Mountains. This includes the habits and adaptations of arriving birds as well as varieties of trees that provide the necessary habitat. In Sycamore holes trogons make their nests and on its limbs we get to see a trogon's typical behavior.
