SPRING FLING

The Southwest Wings Spring Fling ran a total of 31 trips over four days.
​
The birds were kind to us and a total of 212 species were recorded over the four days. These included five ABA rarities - Ruddy Ground Dove, Buff-collared Nightjar, White-eared Hummingbird, Rose-throated Becard and Five striped Sparrow. Additional Arizona rarities included White-tipped Dove, Lucifer Hummingbird, Thick-billed Kingbird, White-throated Sparrow and Rose-breasted Grosbeak.

Elegant Trogon was seen on five different trips, and five species of owls, 11 species of hummingbirds, 13 species of warblers, 19 species of sparrows and 21 species of flycatchers were also recorded.
